I still feel like I'm learning how to do music over again, but I'm doing a lot more of it lately and that feels good. I seem to care a lot about feeling like an active participant in scenes like this even in small ways, and for years I've just not been able to get it together (for unrelated life-happens reasons). So even having a song or two to show means a lot to me personally even if I never actually show it off to anyone.

I intend to travel to #VGMCON this week, I'm very much looking forward to it. I've managed to finish a couple of tracks for #dwellingofduels this year (a first for me!), including a collab I was pretty happy with, and I'm going to get to meet up with a bunch of the folks I've been trading music with and I think that's going to be excellent.

My personal-itch feature would be a hand-editor for the MIDI mapping table since it’s currently kinda fussy to map controllers that send multiple CCs at once (e.g. x/y pads), but undoing back to the one I want still works. And the new history definitely makes that easier.

I haven't used #ableton Live heavily since maybe version 10, when did it get an undo history? This is great!

Looks like it was in 12.1. I haven’t kept up.
