@Clucknsquawk I'm always a bit on the fence about details because I'm sure I've done so many aspects of it wrong. It worked, and that was the main thing. Ah, fine I'll do a little write-up soon.

Hmm #pmgtalentshow is a hard one. I guess I kind of liked my phone. It has a special place in my heart as it's the first time I tried my hand at anything electrical. I converted an old BPO telephone into something that runs from a Raspberry Pi.

You can dial different numbers to have prerecorded messages played, or dial 100 to leave your own message which is then played back at random when people pick up the handset.

@RaynBug yeah. It's somewhat a shame that a lot of people's first interaction with mastodon will be the official app and all the limitations it provides.
