trying to push through the fear of being disapproved by future readers as I’m writing in any form, remembering I’m often super skeptical when reading (or listening to) other people’s work, until I’m knocked out by the sincerity/the craft/the poetry of the maker. skepticism before having given something a chance is a waste of energy. also, how do you write fiction without totally ROMANTICIZING reality, it’s tricky bec fiction = roman
