I recommend a nice and probably but not always unfamiliar classical recording on a frequent basis

@magdelenehall I totally missed this, but those are both among my favourite interpreters of this amazing piece. Korstick is a very underrated pianist with an immense dynamic range (sometimes less of a poet, but we don't need only one type of musician anyway). Hough, of course, if world class
@mondrian exquisite!! What town is this?

@Cossty @EU_Commission mine too! Terrific read!

A bit of research ahead of #PasswordsCon in Bergen, Norway, May 15-18.

Does your kids, partner or anyone else in close family know the pin/password to your personal phone, and/or have they registered a fingerprint/face allowing them access to your phone?

@daosborne I’ll check that one out, thanks! Everything Chandos touches is gold. Highest quality label!
@daosborne that’s lovely to hear! I’ve never gotten into Vinyl properly, but lots of people speak highly of it. Also, best of luck with your PhD..!!
@ntumba @classicalmusic while I think that they have no audiophile advantage over the others any more (everyone has high res lossless), except maybe on Android (do they have bit perfect output that surpasses the Android SRC?), their editorials sure are lovely with reviews of dacs and amps. Alas, I find their search mechanism not suited for classical. But their app is very polished.
@missingbrighton @classicalmusic I wish that was the same for me. I use the Vox app for my CD’s, many of which are on the Hyperion label that isn’t on any streaming service as of now. There’s nothing that sparkled joy as a newly cd. And certainly nothing online, where music has become a commodity…
@gevoel Well, that subject has been debated over and over. On the one hand people who say there is no discernible difference between 24 bits 192 kHz hires and 256 kbps lossless. What is an accepted fact is that 24/192 streams sound totally different regardless of platform if they use the same source files. @audiophilia correct me if I’m wrong, but is Qobuz noticeably better sounding then Apple Music?
