The most surprising #synthwave album for me this quarter was @volkorx 's The Loop: https://volkorx.bandcamp.com/album/the-loop

A concept album that includes a little sci-fi radio play. I didn't care much for the play but the music and atmosphere are stellar (heh) and made me rediscover Volkor X.

I had no idea he had such a strong prog/post-rock side. Some bits are a bit shoegazy, even.

Recommended to anyone who likes their synth blended with Ayreon-style (think Universal Migrator) prog.
