A few weeks ago we organized a hackathon for Gardener for #kubernetes. For the past seven events we wrote a summary on our #blog. This time we didn’t want to repeat ourselves, especially as there is a great topic summary from the gardener project itself.
Thus we decided to write a few words from our perspective. Just a few words and some photos.

Traveling by train with your bike is either a charm or just pain and near impossible.
We planned a trip with 3 bikes.
- Reservations were only possible within 6 months before travel.
- there are only up to 8 spots available per train (if any)
- during summer time these are taken within hours or days
- you finally do a reservation
- the train connections change
- your reservation becomes invalid
- you do not get notified
- you have to manually cancel those

Gladly we didn’t book accommodations
