Roundup of Substack, YouTube, and some web links.
Still struggling with the Google-fu and web crawling. There has to be smolweb or more individually created web content out there, but I'm missing it.
Until then I'm back-filling with Substack, which has a lot of content you can always RSS the content (YouTube too, but it's a more involved process) along with YouTube. These two are in the realm of social media, but for now I'm using it, plus we have some great discussions going on there right now.
I filter out a lot of the other social media sites. It's going to be more parish-based or tight-knit from what I can tell. Still, there appears to be a vibrant Bluesky community, which I'll try to boost on Surf.social soon.
