what is it with the us relying on nazis to build their rockets?
@finley @heydon I understand how the sheer simplicity of this method can raise doubts, but as Heydon already pointed out, spambots aren't very sophisticated. They're more focused on speed and quantity rather than complex pattern recognition. However, you bring up an interesting point, and it's possible that bots may adapt to recognise honeypot fields in the future. It's a dynamic field (pun intended), so staying one step ahead is an ongoing challenge!
@heydon Thank you for sharing! New to this, but it's interesting how honeypot form fields are often overlooked as a powerful anti-spam solution. I wonder why, they're simple yet effective! I'm optimistic about the increasing support for passkeys as an accessible and user-friendly alternative, though.

Chrome: We're automatically opting you in to a new feature that sends your home address to advertisers but puts little asterisks over parts of it, and we're calling it Ultimate Privacy Protection

Firefox: We're encrypting every step of the DNS and HTTP connection process so nobody on the planet can know what you're doing online, because fuck anyone who would want to know

These two are not the same and should not be regarded as equals

Ok, not quite what I was looking for, but the closest so far: "Le mot juste" – The perfectly appropriate word or phrase for the situation.

Learned some new words from Reddit today: Executive paralysis and anhedonia. The combined feelings of being stuck and passionless, but also desperate to do something.

Now what’s it called when you’re at a loss to express yourself, but it’s at the tip of your tongue and alas, you finally find the right word? 🤔

What is it called when you want to do something, particularly a hobby, but nothing appeals and you just become more and more desperate to do...
