Why make a briefcase out of metal when it could be brute forced so easily?

Finally.. Finished this book.
Took a couple years.
Parts of me didn't want to finish it. It's not easy to read. But also it was the last book David Jacoby helped edit. He messaged me at its launch, so proud to be involved. And I kinda felt like if I finished reading it, he would die all over again.
The ending was good but didn't help emotionally. Lagercrantz couldn't have known back then, when he wrote that ending, what would happen later.
But the book is done.
And I'm gonna keep it on my bookshelf forever.
