moving along tonight, to gun tubs on the other side on Shinano, and filling the bottom plate seams of Shinano and Kaga.
In the background, is my selection for the 'air wing' of Shinano, composed of 1 x C6N, 2 x A6M5s, and 4 x B6Ns*. I have cleaned them up, and considering their future.
Not everyone converted battleships to aircraft carriers. I think that's what I like about these two.
* - This is what I'm willing to give up to Shinano. I have to finish researching Taiho and Zuikaku.
things are happening.
Gun tubs on Shinano and hull on Kaga.
(1/700 IJN Shinano and IJN Kaga WIP)

Compiling a list of software I use regularly and reminded (as I often am) of how much utility the software from the KDE and Xfce projects have given me over the years. I don't actually use either of those desktop environments, but I use the rest of it!

So huge thanks and ❤️ to @kde and @xfce for making so many high-quality applications. They're a big part of keeping the free software ecosystem viable in much the same way that the GNU stuff helped get it all started.

what's on my mind: IJN Kaga is the thing I can't stop thinking about. I have four of the six that attacked the US fleet at Pearl Harbor. I'm struggling with IJN Shinano because the muse has left me. Kaga seems a simple kit, and I don't plan to over-think it. I plan to paint all of the decks - no sticker wood (or concrete) decks for me.
