Architect and curious FreeBSD newbie. Currently located in Toronto.
Morning run surrounded by beautiful fall colours in Canada, while listening to @pluralistic on the #newyorkerradio. This is one of the good things internet brought to us, streaming radio from any part of the world.
Labour Day long weekend and we visited #montreal. It is always nice when we go to Montreal, beautiful people, interesting architecture and culture.
Wondering around the city we stopped for a coffee at #CafeOlimpico in Centre-Ville. Well made coffee and desserts, quality design and materials for the space itself, and music was carefully curated. Very positive experience! The visit is carved in my “sweet memories journal”.

It was a very nice weekend overall. The weather is a bit on the cold side (even below 0) but the sun compensated us. Saturday, I went out for my first run of the year and it felt good. Sunday morning I had this feeling of sweet pain that comes after getting some exercise. Neat!
@gnomon the rain stopped before the game. The weather was pleasant and we even enjoyed walking by the water from the exhibition place to Union. Definitely spring is here! I hope you had a nice day too!
@gnomon I hope it clears fast. I have plans to go to BMO field in the afternoon…
@etienne_obriot thanks! I keep it simple. We use a standard raspberry Pi 4 and the vlc that comes with it. There is a UPnP side menu that links us to the home server.

I just uploaded my latest file with notes on FreeBSD zfs snapshot > zfs send | receive. Many thanks to @vermaden for helping me understanding and resolving some issues there.
