every time i see a security expert recommend passkeys i think back to my two hour conversation with my not even 70 year old neighbor trying to explain what a passkey is in any way that makes sense. the best i could get is "a password that the site makes for you, and then your phone keeps safe" but that is so unsatisfying. passkey UX is horrible
