E se interessati, a che ora preferireste? (ora italiana)
I've noticed that some people followed this account in the last few days.
I created it to look at the mastodon side of the fediverse, but since friendica fully talks Activity Pub I've been back to my original fediverse account @[email protected] and this one is basically unused.
@dartigen I've had a similar problem with a skirt that was just too lightweight for pockets, and decided to go fully 18th century on it: https://www.trueelena.org/clothing/projects/pair_of_pockets.html
Now I'm adding slits, zippers and openings to ALL THE SKIRTS, just to be able to carry those pockets in case I need them.

OTOH, contrary to what one of the article claims, I ended up having to lend my scissors, because I can't resist people asking me “do you happen to have X?”
@dartigen could coptic binding work with bookbinding fabric? (I don't know the english name, it's fabric backed by paper): if available, that should be available in smaller quantities. Another alternative could be mock leather?
In that case, I would do a first project with fabric / pleather and printer paper, and then buy nice watercolor paper and leather only if you decide that you want to do more.
Disclaimer: I've only done “traditional” bookbinding.
From today's wikipedia anniversaries: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MS_Herald_of_Free_Enterprise a ferry called Herald of Free Enterprise capsized because both the ship and the procedures were designed to maximize profit at the expense of safety.
how sadly appropriate…
