Will probably do a books thread, about what I'm reading. Started this year with Tejo-Tunghabadra. Extremely intense at times, this is an absolute classic. As much as it is well researched, the story is Vasudhendra's own and boy, can he tell a tale!
It's available in translation, which is also supposed to be pretty good.
