I have an 8bitdo zero 2 that I’ve had for a few years.

I kept it on my key chain for a long time. It would be in my pocket for 8 hour workdays in which I worked outside and got wet. It still works despite having been through all that.

I used to stick my phone to a magnetic mount in my car sometimes and used the controller to play emulated games. Nowadays I use a retro handheld or a steam deck.

I recommend 8bitdo very highly in general. Most of their controller feel really solid and completely nail the retro aesthetic they are copying.

The zero 2 isn’t like that though. It feels cheap and light, but it has held up well.

I don’t know, Dan Gheesling (the example human being you chose) can probably stretch that irony level, while straight faced acting like he isn’t being even slightly ironic.
I don’t give a shit. Push a real candidate.
A netbook was always just a very small cheap laptop they still exist but nobody really calls them netbooks any more. Most of them are run chromeOS now and they call them chromebooks.
No but mine does this too.
The early days of Asheron’s Call. One of the earliest MMORPGs with a 3d game world. It was cool being in a giant world with thousands of other people who were all trying to figure out the game and explore the world. There were monthly updates that were adding all kinds of new stuff all the time. I don’t really care for MMOs any more but it was a cool experience at the time.

Sometimes I make a save just before some part of a game that I think is really fun. When I go back to play the game instead of like starting a new game or loading my save that is the furthest way through I just run through the part I really like.

There are a ton of games I consider my favorites that I have never played all the way through. I don’t really care that much about completing a game and I generally think the beginning is more fun than the later stages of many games.

Speaking of Project Zomboid I often, but not always, play that game with the infection turned off or set to bites only at least because I don’t want my run to end just because I made a tiny mistake or something really janky happens with the user interface that gets me scratched. I also play Project Zomboid with a game controller which isn’t how the game was originally designed but luckily someone on the team decided it was worth coding and I love them for it.

Sometimes I play Rust on a private server by myself with no other players just messing around and doing the PvE content.

Costa Rica is the happiest place in the Americas. I wouldn’t have guessed that. Guess they’re doing something right. Quick look at Wikipedia showed high education spending and no standing army.
Hotline Miami is a banger, the game and the soundtrack.
About 120 miles. I am still familiar with the town, I’ve been back several times, but it’s not my home. I’ve lived in the city I live in now for a little over 30 years.
