If you were experiencing "Error 500" messages this should be resolved now.

The database server filled up the hard drive with backup/replication files that were supposed to be automatically cleaned up but weren't for some reason.

I've disabled hourly backups until I can look into this further (daily backups are still in place).

Okay well that was embarrassing. A routine upgraded that took about 5 minutes when tested ended up causing things to stop working on the live site because of the web cache.

Fought with it for way longer than I should have, but clearing the nginx cache appears to have fixed it right away.

Searching appears to be working again for hashtags. 👍

It appears the search function is not working for certain hashtags, in an effort to fix this we'll try performing some maintenance steps which will include rebooting the database server in about 20 minutes (5PM EST).

Expect a brief outage while it's rebooting. Sorry.

Not many updates lately which is usually a good thing (less updates = less things breaking).
