@nikki I have a rescue Pionus and I dream of getting to hold him, let alone having him fall asleep in my hand. He's clearly become attached to me, but petting is off the table. Very distrusting of hands. I'd love to meet whoever did this to my Socrates, I swear I just want to talk.
@cat567 @openculture There are people that speak it for fun. It's not uncommon in the linguistics community to know a bit, especially if you study the romance languages to some degree. It's useful to know where they all stemmed. Helps to see how language changes over the course of time. That said, the Lorem Ipsum is Latin that's been jumbled up. I believe all the words are from Latin, but it's complete gibberish. Take an English text, scramble the words, then throw it together. Same idea.
