Farm workers are hard at work in in Fresno CA harvesting pomegranates. They earn minimum wage and spend their days filling sacks that weigh up around 60 pounds when full. They then dump the sacks into the bins. A tractor hauls the full bins to cold storage. #WeFeedYou

Enjoying that holiday poinsettia? They come to our homes thanks to workers like "Ana" who water, fertilize & individually sleeve each plant to ensure they don’t snap or break during transportation. "We cover our hands and arms as the sap is known to cause irritation." #WeFeedYou
"Samuel" sent us this photo from where he is pruning apple trees in WA State. "Holding up the pruning shears up all day is hard on your arms, shoulders, and back. But it's the type of work we have at this time of year and it feeds my family" #WeFeedYou
"Andrea" sent us this video for McFarland CA where she is harvesting Mandarin oranges. "It is very tough work going up the ladder all day and moving the ladder in place, but this work feeds my family. We get paid $60 for each 900lb bin." #WeFeedYou
At 11am it was 49° in Arvin CA. "Raul" shares, "We're leveling out the soil & clearing the bed tops before we begin planting for the lettuce harvest. It's back breaking shovel work that keeps the rows even, so water runs right and the crop doesn’t fail." #WeFeedYou
"Carlos" harvests pomegranates in Fresno CA. "I work piece rate & average $130/day working as fast as I can. My back aches from carrying 60lb bags of pomegranates & climbing/moving ladders in muddy fields. I wonder if the risks are worth it, but need to make ends meet." #WeFeedYou
