I found a new game dev I wanted to follow on mastodon and I got this page. I’m guessing there is a lack of federation or something, but man do they make this software hard to use

During my time at Amazon I realized that the ability to crank out new micro-services gave enormous flexibility for teams/individuals to experiment with new ideas. When I was at Snap I realized how quickly you can iterate on a monolith when you have a really compelling CI system
In both cases these were heavily dependent on having really good tooling. It’s the tooling that makes a given architecture successful (or not)
