I went down the road and took some pics of the bike leg of the pro triathlon on the GC this afternoon. I got some I’m relatively happy with, but also some razor sharp focus on some traffic cones, street signs and car rego plates in the background of fuzzy rider shots.
This one of Taylor Knibb is one of my better ones I feel.

Walking over the Sundale bridge this morning, a bloke, maybe mid 20s, rides past.
Pulls a 1.25 L soft drink bottle from his bottle cage, takes a swig, then launches the empty bottle over the railing into the Nerang River. Then throws the cap over the other railing and rides away.
I wish nothing but the worst for him from now on.

I am acting in a different role at work. In my old role, I was stressed and annoyed daily, but I know I can do the work. I’m currently stressed and annoyed daily and don’t know if I can do the work. Can’t quite figure out if I’m actually drowning or verrry slowly learning how to swim. Is sub optimal.

I have returned from the north.
Apart from the standard Sunny Coast to Brisbane leg of crap, I also encountered a LARGE tailback around Tiaro.
At least 6 km from the north of town and 9 km from the southern edge.
I do wonder if a bypass would kill the town, but that kind of traffic makes it worth considering.
