The pretzel logic of conservatives here is confusing and stupid. I believe in free trade, full stop. This is a proven economic concept and people opposed to free trade are ignoring the benefits that have an accrued in the last 50 years.

Like so many people in the #DirtyT orbit, this is too little too late.
There are many people in America who consider Mike Pence a hero. I view him as an evil and stupid villain.
The closest Mike Pence (and Nikki Hailey) analogy I can think of is a person who associates with a child molestor. Later, that person visits a school and says, “Hey! I didn’t touch any kids.”
Doing the right thing doesn’t make you a hero. But willingly associating with evil people makes you a villain. And if the people you associate with are evil enough, the stain never washes off.
