New years job: sharpen the knives!
Wanted to have music whilst using power tools. I looked at the prices of ear defenders with Bluetooth and they are steep! Realised I could simply loop my Shokz over the ends of regular ear defenders, awesome sound!
Yes my workbench is a mess, no I'm not changing.
Jordans shrinkflation... 17% smaller!
Like a glove! I redid it so I could hold my head high. Need to sand it down a little so it isn't quite so wedged in
Cut down and reinforced an old shed door to fit my new outdoor table plinth. Only to realise it's a left hand door and I need a right hand door. Do I do it all again with the right hand door, or just use the left one?
Or even fit the left hand door to the right and leave future me to deal with a sagging door...
Done! All done with leftover material. Apart from the mortar.
Now what to do with the rest of the mortar...
One and a half brick left and I'm out of mortar :-(
Only managed 5 courses... I've learnt:
- bricklaying takes longer than you think
- you need more mortar than you think
- it's literally backbreaking work, I'm lying on the floor now!
Happy with the results though, maybe I'll be faster next time...
Think I've got everything I need
