@rollplusheart could just give it to them! Hand over the pages and let them sort it out. There's more of them than there is of you anyway! You might need to rewrite or redact to make it player-facing.

@grahamw Swords Without Master makes you narrate in a specific tone, but also makes you introduce escalations, mysteries, and morals for specific die results. E.g. if both dice are below 4 (not tied), there is an unintended consequence to your action that you narrate, and you write down a lesson that could be learned for later reincorporation.

Genesys uses funky dice, producing orthogonal good/bad symbols in addition to success/failure. The book has suggestions for interpreting those.

@SavageSpiel Epyllion explicitly models "the value of friendship," ideally with gem tokens!
@lauraehall Heaven's Vault is also an "information game" with soft gating, based around learning alien/ancient vocabulary from context. Not as strict as a logic puzzle deduction but it feels adjacent.
