Yesterday we published a new Cherokee and Osage font collection, and now are proud to support all indigenous languages of North America. https://www.typotheque.com/blog/cherokee-osage-and-the-indigenous-north-american-type-collection
Need help solving a mystery. When I was a kid, we had Fontographer on my family PC, and that's how I made my first fonts. The question is, WHY did we have Fontographer? My parents don't know why we had it. Was it bundled with some other software in the mid-90s or something?
Does anyone do proofing without a laser printer? Any ideas? I’m so sick of printer problems.
WE MADE IT!
Thanks to the generosity of 48 fantastic community members, with hours still to spare, we successfully funded our first crowdfunding attempt to support indigenous writing scripts. @tulseytype already deep in the work on a series of Cherokee fonts and documentation articles. Thank you šŸ™ šŸ’›
We are working with Chris Skillern @tulseytype on a series of innovative Cherokee fonts. You can support the project directly in this crowdfunding campaign. One more week to go. Join the club, and spread the word. https://www.typotheque.com/club

Rewarding myself for a solid hour of work with 10 minutes of surfing eBay for lettering books.
I think the biggest revelation I've had after trying Threads for a bit is just how very, very tired I am of social media in general. Wish we could just draw type without having to think about curating content across 5,000 different platforms.
I came across an actually affordable copy (in good condition!) of the Photo-Lettering One Line Manual of Styles, but I hesitated a minute too long, and someone snatched it up. That one stings.
I'm on an incredible streak of doing everything just a LITTLE bit late right now. Looking forward to when things slow down a bit and I don't start every email with "apologies for the wait."
I need an AI that can look at a proof for a typeface and give me a perfect name for it.
