It's Wednesday, My Dudes: New Comic Book Releases List for March 11th, 2026
Absolute Martian Manhunter #9 for me.
I picked up Absolute Martian Manhunter Vol. 1 a few days ago on the recommendation of this community. Two people at the store said “good call, this one is amazing” while I was there, too. Volume 1 has issues 1 through 6, so I’ll see if I can pick up 7, 8, and 9 at the store this week.
ComicList: New Releases for March 4th, 2026
The GoCollect site hasn’t had this list on their blog for a couple weeks now – looks like Chuck’s new releases list is now on its own separate site at comiclist.info. He also doesn’t have them all on one page, so here are the links for each publisher:
What are you pulling this week?
I hadn't realized Piefed has themes until today. They are amazing, thank you!
Today I was just thinking about how PieFed (and the fediverse in general) reminds me of an earlier internet that I used to like, where “social media” was just phpBB forums running on old computers in peoples’ basements. And I thought, “I just wish PieFed looked a little different to reflect that. Too bad there aren’t any themes for it.”
SHIIIIIIIIT, I had just never looked in the settings menu before. I’m using Irix 1998 now and freaking love it.

I’m sure no one in this community needs to be convinced to try Linux. But I love it every time I see a non-Linux person trying Linux and showing other people that it works. (Also nice to see that Jeff Gerstmann is still around and doing alright after getting screwed over by Gamespot for like 15 years.)

I found a review of Absolute Green Lantern #1 and it piqued my interest. Sci-fi + horror sounds good. https://graphicpolicy.com/2025/04/17/absolute-green-lantern-1-is-a-hell-of-a-start-with-a-nice-mix-of-sci-fi-horror-and-mystery/
(that blog is on Mastodon too, btw: @[email protected])
