The city and council have said they're taking climate seriously. But the very first budget since declaring a climate emergency proposes decreasing our investments and giving up on net zero by 2050.
They even charted it.
The Energy Transition and Climate Resiliency committee is "unanimously shocked and disappointed" at the proposed budget that, by it's own admission, does absolutely nothing to combat the climate emergency.
