Rude trailside lurker! I pretty much always see a great blue heron when I go to Heron’s Head Park in SF.

Wild parrots of San Francisco, in the Excelsior, living in a house’s eaves. Today! Mark Bittner, of the parrots of Telegraph Hill fame, died today.
