The fact that #firefish is in unstable, and alpha state from the beginning is becoming a BIG problem here. The fact the main instance is alpha and stay in a unstable state despite the fact we are tell at every steps that "it will get better, here, take a 2 days of shutdown" and it doesn't really evolve, is a problem for firefish image.
The fact people cannot even talk about things that matter during world event on a social decentralized network and that become a unreliable way to look at news and inform on things is, also, a BIG problem.
I hope this is see by firefish dev, and i hope it will get better end better, but yeah... Firefish is not very pleasant to use and it's really to bad.

There are events going on in the world which under normal circumstances I'd be commenting on, but unfortunately this server is close to unusable at the moment, and has been for months with no end in sight. I'm reluctant to start controversial discussions that I then won't be able to engage in. As things stand, it's hit-and-miss whether I'll even receive your notifications or be able to see your replies. As I've just started a new and challenging job, my focus really needs to be on that, rather than on global affairs over which I have no real control.
