Qualcomm is buying Arduino. Arduino was already so great. I don't understand what Qualcomm can do to make Arduino better but I know there is a lot they could do to make it worse. Major corporations buying up beloved small brands and products ends poorly more often than not. There's plenty of competition in that part of the hardware world but it's the openness, community, and all of the support that really matters.
After reading about the NPM hack today I'm beginning to think that maybe this cryptocurrency stuff is risky and prone to abuse.

Should have gone with proxmox/kvm/xen. This is what can happen when you don't use FOSS and instead expose yourself to extortion. Now they are talking about not being able to put food on the shelves.
