Your only job is to not break the chain.

I’ve learned that a big ol’ ❌ is powerful.

Jerry Seinfeld was onto something. When how to be a better comedian, he said:

“The way to be a better comic is to create better jokes. The way to create better jokes is to write every day.”

Seinfeld’s advice was to buy a big 12-month wall calendar and put a big red X over every day you write. Once you start to see the chain form, you won’t want to break it.

Your only job is to not break the chain.

AI can replicate words.

It can replicate heart.

It can sound right.

But it misses the point:

Intention

When we pour ourselves into something we create, we imbue it with meaning.

AI can imitate that meaning, and it might even fool us, but it’s still just a microwave meal in a world starved for a slow-roasted four-course dinner.
