Just published schedule for Sql Friday season 6. Wow. Session Selection is HARD. And unfortunately there were many “I’m sorry” emails to send this time too. But the schedule is so good (he humbly stated).

Sending this toot from hospital, waiting to get my son’s knee X-rayed after a skating incident. (Not neglecting him by working, he told me to shut up so he could focus on Mine Craft on his phone).
Yay! Two late submissions for Sql Friday season 6 which really makes all the difference. This will be sooooooooooooo good. (he said in the most humble way possible)
Session selection is done, first episodes already booked but I want to send out mails to all who submitted before making the schedule public.
Sql Friday is now btw an Azure Data Community usergroup. #sqlfriday #RieMerrittIsAmazing
Office day with no client work. Came in late to the office, and almost immediately joined an office neighbour out to lunch. Then I had coffee and talked to another office neighbour.
But now I'm in play-mode, preparing a new presentation: Clusterless availability groups using containers. Why you may ask?
If we want to build applications that use readable secondaries for certain workloads, we need that from dev to production. And especially for dev and test, containers are fabolousmazing
Here's a friendly reminder that SQL Friday Season 6 Call for Speakers close in little more than a week.
There are many really good abstracts already submitted.
As speaker diversity is at the top of my priorities, please help me spread this CfS-link in your network to make good even better.
