I never realized how it takes only 45 seconds to post across all platforms. Might have to stop making excuses when I want to tweet something serious.
I’m down to try almost every social media platform and might do some cross posting but WTF is Spoutible’s problem. They’re requiring people to reset their password AGAIN

I'm not going to lie. I usually forget this place exists until someone mentions it. Once I figure out what I can talk about without boring people to death I'll make an effort to say said things on all platforms where I'm (in)active.

But for now I reserve my trash thoughts for the dumpster bird app. Can't litter everywhere, amirite?

This Twitter shot is legit depressing if it’s your only place you really ever managed to connect to people.

Not me, obviously I have a very rich normal social life.

Hai everyone.
What’s up, Elephant App.

Twitter just locked out my business account for suspicious activity. I was told to verify by phone (there was also another process I had to follow first but this was completely skipped) and used a phone number I've used for other countless accounts.

So I get the verification code and then setup SMS 2FA (because I'm a spiteful bastard) and guess what the verification code for MFA was?

Same. Exact. Code. Coincidence?

Oh, and when I complained about it on twitter someone with a new account offered to sell me guns. But my business account where I talk about security got locked out.

Good job, Elongo.

Just got a refresher on the importance of using "difficult" passwords. One of the throwaway mailboxes we used for one-off campaign got compromise due to a very weak password. Like, [email protected] => PW: Mailbox(Year) weak.

Kudos to the hacker who somehow found this very obscure mailbox and managed to guess the password. And kudos to the security team at our hosting provider who immediately shut them down.

@deweyritten I've started referring to them as "Plague ships"

I don't know why I decided I wanted to create an app that helps people stay safe IRL situations by giving them tools to contact or alert people, but I finally started working on it. Server is setup, app is starting and the first page is online.

For now you can only generate a Google Maps URL with your location. Which isn't much. Or anything at all! But the goal is that this URL will be automatically sent to contacts you've predefined (over SMS or mail) with just a few button pushes instead of fumbling around with location sharing.
