Sad news for our community. Vale Charles Edge. https://auc.edu.au/2024/04/vale-charles-edge/
I had heaps of fun at the X World conference last week and was honoured to be invited as one of the guests on the live recording of the Mac Admins podcast with @tbridge and Marcus Ransom.
This was my first conference as a Microsoft employee and I was blown away by the warm, friendly welcome by the local anzmac community.
Coincidentally, it was also my very first in-person, public speaking opportunity.
I want to give a quick shout out to Lynette Ma from Jamf and a great example of why I love this community. Just before my session started, I was quite nervous. Lynette, who I'd never spoken to before gave me a thumbs up and said 'You're going to do great'. This made all the difference and gave me the confidence boost I needed. Thank you Lynette 🙏
Many thanks to @markmorow for encouraging me to submit this talk when the CFP came up and for Michael Epping and the rest of the macos v-team in Microsoft Identity for the great content they've created. It's quite easy when you are standing on the shoulders of giants.
Credit to @bartreardon for the pic. BTW if you are a Mac Admin and you haven't heard of his swiftDialog go check it out right now https://github.com/bartreardon/swiftDialog
