Die #mrmcd2024 sind zwar schon ein paar Tage her, aber ich bin dran erinnert worden, dass die Configs und Präsentation zu "Proxmox Server bei Hetzner: Mehrere interne Netzwerke und nur eine öffentliche IP-Adresse" noch nicht veröffentlicht habe. Das habe ich nun nachgeholt. Ihr findet alles auf GitHub - inklusive der Links zu den Aufzeichnungen.

Ciarán (mc)Microsoft enabled the notorious "Recall" with the last update (for Windows 11 copilot+ enabled pcs only). It's part of the OS and can't be uninstalled. This software stores metadata about EVERYTHING that appears on your screen, including passwords/urls/images/videos/any messages you send or emails etc
To disable this gross spyware, run the following as admin on the command line:
Dism /Online /Disable-Feature
/Featurename:Recall

(Thread) In the olden days, a FOSS (Free/Open Source Software) project typically had:
- A source code repository
- A web page with the documentation, FAQ and links to downloads
- At least one mailing list called announce, typically also one for users and one for contributors, all with public archives
- (maybe) An IRC channel to chat with other users and maybe also the developers
Maybe it’s time to try that simple approach again? Everything open, everything accessible? 1/7
