This one slaps with the graphic designer wing of the resistence.

The man who made me the photographer I am today. This is the first photo I ever took (aged 5); it's no surprise that of all potential subject matter that could have grabbed my attention at that age, I chose him. He passed away in 2006 when I was in my mid-twenties, and what I wouldn’t give some days to take just one more photo of him. Thank you, #Dad, for all the gifts you gave me, including a shared passion for photography ❤️

A photo that I snapped an hour ago of the San Francisco #NoKings protest. I estimate about 150,000 people in total.

Everybody is a star. Thank you for being one and shining so brightly. Rest in Power, Sly Stone. 🙏🏿

Bill Atkinson was one of the most brilliant, imaginative, and compelling people I ever had the privilege to work with. His vision touched every device you use today. And his heart, his open love and humanity, exceeded all of that.
Here’s rare audio of Bill Atkinson talking about HyperCard at a 1987 NY Mac Users’ Group meeting, courtesy of Charles Mann’s wonderful Powersharing Series. https://soundcloud.com/thepowersharingseries/ps165-clip-sculley-atkinson-hypercard

From Bill Atkinson's Facebook via the Call-A.P.P.L.E. discord: Dear Friends and Family, We regret to write that our beloved husband, father, and stepfather Bill Atkinson passed away on the night of Thursday, June 5th, 2025, due to pancreatic cancer. He was at home in Portola Valley in his bed, surrounded by family. We will miss him greatly, and he will be missed by many of you, too. He was a remarkable person, and the world will be forever different because he lived in it. He was fascinated by consciousness, and as he has passed on to a different level of consciousness, we wish him a journey as meaningful as the one it has been to have him in our lives. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, stepson, stepdaughter, two brothers, four sisters, and dog, Poppy.

Inject this straight into my veins 😂

@carnage4life

I'll do the same when they start throwing actual daggers at each other. Or drones.

@carnage4life You know the bit in Eddie Izard's Dressed to Kill where he mock eats popcorn from buckets on both sides?

That is me right now.

Can't find a GIF or I'd post it.

@carnage4life What do we make of the world?! First Putin goes crazy, now Muks. It's so frustrating when you're such a great judge of character, but then some kind of mental illness makes people crazy! It's just so hard to be president when people keep ignoring what the president wants. How's a guy supposed to be a great leader with so many losers around? I ask you!

@Bon_Jardin
Hey random stranger on the internet. 👋🏼
I'm genuinely curious, in your estimation, when did Putin go crazy?
Before February 10, 2007 when he gave the Munich speech? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_Munich_speech_of_Vladimir_Putin

Or after? 🤔

2007 Munich speech of Vladimir Putin - Wikipedia

@jbiserkov I can't be sure, but I think the US president must know the answer, because he says Putin was apparently just fine up until about 2 weeks ago. Maybe what we need is a discussion on the definition of "crazy".
@carnage4life it is sad when someone becomes a double plus unperson and all the history needs to be rewritten by minitrue
