Me and my friend Ryan have algorithmically found the longest line of sight on Earth https://alltheviews.world

We made our own state of the art algorithm in Rust and SIMD. It took 100s of AMD Turin cores, 100s of GBs of RAM, a few TBs of disk and 2 days of constant runtime on multiple machines.

The packing is really just a way to avoid irrelevant calculations. So there's no harm searching for Himalayan length lines of sight in Wales! It's just we'll waste CPU cycles trying. So the packing algorithm is more about finding something resource-friendly rather than geographically correct.

How often would you say you eat coconut oil, or at least something that contains it, that has a sort of rancid flavour? It happens to me so often from so many different sources, that I'm wondering if it's my own taste buds??
