Something the "just let AI draft your docs" crowd doesn't seem to get:
It's harder to turn "bad docs" into "good docs" than it is to write good docs from scratch.
Even putting aside LLMs are trained to (re)produce the "average" (and, how great are "average" docs out there?), your "bad docs" anchor you. You are primed to "fix" the odd word in place, but you now have to *actively work* to "envision" better.
You didn't trust yourself (were too lazy) to write. You thought editing would be easier?
