Eon vue & Plant factory now completely free!

Hey everyone, I am happy to share the news that Bentley is willing to make VUE and PlantFactory open source. Since the release of the freeware versions last year, this has been an ongoing project helmed by one of my former developer colleagues. Bentley is now at a stage where the legal obstacles for releasing the source code have been cleared and the plans can finally be announced publicly. And I call it done
illustration for my next ai article in the next few weeks. Done using traditional 3d tools + some photoshop
Sunday morning doodle, trying to make a futuristic version of the logo, and to visualise it put it on a quick and dirty model.
Not satisfied with the initial version of the logo, but I would not suspect otherwise (especially tackling such an iconic logo). Usually I need at least two or three serious revisions that I feel its content. But that is all I can do today

Back when I was 16 I encountered the rocket in a local comic store. And even then it was more about not beeing able to justify the expnese. A week ago I looked into it again, and I still can't justify the price for an original model.
But I found that little 3d print project, and decided to try it out....I'm usually not that much into toys on shelf, but for whatever reason this one resonates with me

Its mre about fullfilling a youths dream

Some long time ago I made this model. Due to time constraint the back of it was modeled pretty sloppy.
While importing some old stuff, I decided to redo the back and add some detailing. The next step is the fine detail pass, and then I will finaly correctly texture it

The idea is that this is a multi purpose work shuttle wich can be modified, through its modularity, for different intentions

Random AI thought

So do we get in the near future, once we get more than 30 seconds of ai footage per clip, studios issuing some kind of "fanart" licensing for AI movies, like we already have forthird party books / comics/audio stories based on a franchise ?

Disclaimer, my post are neither ai fan, nor ai hate related. I DO see the problems...and until these a sorted out I WONT use it for artwork related things. (Except some experiments..wich won't have a copyright notice).
