@st0012 Haha, I read this

> the amazing seafood delis we have here

As

> the amazing seafood deals we have here

And it hits different lol.

@textualdeviance I agree on all counts. Same usage for me, generally. But funny enough, it’s actually harder to fit my cello in the back of this one 🤷‍♂️. Oh well, I’m used to it now. It’s very comfortable!
@Badger_AF @knowattitude @mastodonmigration @christa @sohan It’s all anecdotal though. I guess it has very similar dimensions, so the content in the video doesn’t apply. But the cut and feel is just so much different. Truck truck truck! Ew.

Cool vid. Interesting. I’ve been a huge fan of my 08 rav4, but it gave up the ghost last week. I was excited to get into a new rav4 hybrid. In general I’m happy enough, but it feels _massive_ in comparison to my 08. It feels like a proper truck, where my old vehicle felt more like a utility car. Just looking at the front end of it, and it’s a massive wall of metal. I could see the corners in my old car. Not this one, at all.

@drbrain My 2008 RAV4 broke down today on the highway to MSP airport. It has enough paper cuts to where I’m deciding to put it to rest. So I guess I’m much more in the market than just a few days ago ; ;

Thinking of a RAV4 Hybrid or Corolla Cross Hybrid. I don’t think I have the stomach for the infrastructure yet for a plug-in-hybrid. Not like I’d have an easy time finding a Prime anyway.

@drbrain Huh. I’ve wanted to go down that path for a couple years, but was discouraged by how long of a wait it is to buy. Living in northern MN… well, I guess that helps alleviate some fomo. But, sorry to hear for you and others. That sounds pretty shabby.

Attached garage is currently…. 19°

Is this an issue with other EVs and Plug-in Hybrids?

@imtony Once they met their demise, I started clearing a space on the table, and they thought I was packing up and kicking them out, but then I reached over and grabbed "The Box" and set it down with a thud.

"A curious mechanic in this game is that, as eternally cursed gunslingers, your curse is eternal. You are immortal. Please take a look at _this_ page in the rule book, take a drink of this here "Justus" water, choose a "corruption", and let's figure out where you've landed.

Minds. blown.

@imtony As for the reveal of the death and resurrection. That was incredible. The BB essentially had them trapped in a small room with 15 mind-controlled musicians ready to tear them up zombie style. They fought surprisingly well, and I frustratingly had to weasel some "yeah, you can't do that/aim for him because there's nearly 20 people in this small room" moves to ensure their demise.
@imtony The reveal was fantastic. I think overall the game setup went well. It was stressful for me. I'm not a seasoned GM and get crazy under pressure. For example, my players started asking the names of every entity under the sun, and we ended up with a tavern proprietor named "No Name... No Name Norm". and "Bill and his son Sonny" and "Will and Ned ('s excellent adventure)". It's interesting to watch the game unfold, and see who the players think are important vs who you think are important.
