I cannot put into words how wonderful it is for me that Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou is finally releasing in English.
I read it over a decade ago, but it has stayed with me more strongly than most other fiction. It's one of my favorite works of Japanese media.
I ended up making a simple beef bowl with aa sliced yellow onion, garlic, pre-marinated bulgogi pork from H Mart, and two eggs.
It tastes incredible.
I bought ANOTHER mechanical keyboard, but this one is important. It's an IBM Model M, widely considered the best mechanical keyboard ever made (particularly the ones made before 1991; this one is from January 1989).
Here it is perched on my lap.
Made depression focaccia.
Have since come to the conclusion that focaccia is the ultimate garlic bread.

I made these H.ershey's peanut butter blossoms for the first time. My mom often made them during the holidays when I was a kid, but I haven't had them in a long time.
They're basic, but this is the first time I've felt the so-called holiday spirit in over a decade.
