@stroughtonsmith These agents have made quick ideas so trivial that I don’t feel so invested in any give one. I get to iterate and abandon stuff that probably won’t pan out at a much faster clip than before.

As someone who turns lots of hobbies into jobs because of the amount of effort I’ve invested, it’s a relief.

@caseyliss Not sure exactly how this fits in with OIDC auth but I’ve got a Proxmox setup and I love it.

My favorite quality of life thing I’ve done with it is set up Caddy to be a reverse proxy for my internal services.

I’ve got a domain name like: paperless.bueno.dev

The secret sauce is that you can only access that domain if you’re on my tailnet. There is an origin certificate configured through cloudflare so everything is also behind SSL.

Having memorable domains makes things easier.

My October 2025 Media Diet

Another month, another “I can’t believe how fast it went” intro paragraph. This time I actually have an excuse, October was packed. My brother visited from Seattle, and all three of us brothers had birthdays (plus the usual birthday-adjacent festivities). I also spent a week in Paris, checking off the classic tourist stops and narrowly avoiding being implicated in the Louvre jewel heist. I have an alibi, I swear.

@stroughtonsmith Books is one of Apple’s most under served apps. I’d kill for an Apple branded eink device. Right now I’m rather unsuccessfully trying to sync my library and progress between the iOS ecosystem and my Boox Go android ereader.

P.S. You might be interested in Koreader if you can jailbreak that kindle.

@stroughtonsmith I’m currently in the process of updating my apps to iOS 26. No screenshots of the new designs yet unfortunately.

My app Bound is an audiobook app for DRM free audiobooks. I’m looking into bringing Mac and iPadOS support in a future version.

@marcoarment I’ve got an audiobook application and share the same thoughts. My app needs a bit of a deeper refresh than Overcast did and I’m dreading the now playing screen.
