My deepest sympathies to the Twitter staff who got fired today. Seems we've hit an iceberg, and the Twitter Titanic is sinking fast! Lucky the Mastodon lifeboats arrived long before the accident.

Virtualbox Windows accessibility tip: if you're using object navigation in NVDA to go through a list, such as the list of VMs, if NVDA doesn't read an item, it means that item is selected.
I can't seem to create a Telegram group without adding people, so who'd like to join my project announcement/hangout group? I know I could just make a channel for announcements, but groups seem more accessibly on mobile; I'm looking at you, iOS!
If you had to pick 3 techy things you love to explain to non-techy people the most, what would they be? Mine would be:
1. SSL/TLS encryption.
2. HTTP and HTTPS.
3. Network ports, IP addresses and DNS.
Twitter seems to be having somewhat of a mass exodus, so if you're joining Mastodon and wish to find me, I am [email protected]. I don't plan to leave Twitter, however... yet!
