Protest sign reads: My grandpa didn't survive Auschwitz to bomb Gaza. #gaza #Israel #freepalestine

#Starfield finished : 100 hours, all faction quests complete, Starborn at Lv 50. Amazing aesthetic, great story, nice gameplay. Just lacking in some depth but hopeful for future expansions. It’s the best Bethesda game since Skyrim.
9/10

Another #JRPG finished this month
SaGa Scarlet Grace : Ambitions (NSW)

Ridiculously fun, complex battle system, extremely challenging, often very obtuse. Deep campaign with lots of content. My favorite SaGa game so far. The bad: low production value, and unappealing graphics.

Thoroughly enjoying #armoredcore6 especially customizing my AC with the RX-78 color scheme. 🔥🔥🔥

Finished Mega Man Battle Network 2 today, which I thought is one of the best in the series. Story is satisfying, gameplay is very very addictive once you get the hang of folder building. I didn’t really like the amount of backtracking you had to do especially later in the game, but the enemy and Boss design was really good and that kept me playing. But overall I’d give this an 8/10. Not too long or overstays its welcome.

Finished Final Fantasy IV today.
Forgot how hard these old FF games are😆. The final boss (Zeromus) can one-shot kill any one of my party members, so most of the battle was trying to manage healing/Phoenix Down and counter him so I can actually deal damage.
Buying discounted, "last gen" Apple products is truly a life hack.
I hope Mastodon doesn't end up like Threads where they just create the entire thing to be as advertiser friendly and algorithm-based as possible. I fully expect Threads to be filled with ads within a year from now.
In ~2014, my colleague & I argued that social media (esp. Twitter) had become part of the critical infrastructure of disaster response. People were turning to Twitter during crises to share information about impacts and resources. Disaster responders were using the data shared there for situational awareness, and were communicating in real-time with their constituents. Today’s events underscore just how dangerous it is for society to come to rely on private platforms as critical infrastructure.
