@HampshireBear @LionelSF *nods* & that is why sugar cubes are no longer used for building. Entirely too easy to dissolve & ended up with a load of sticky ex-monks & nuns cluttering up the countryside.

Minimus is Ulixes (Odysseus), tied to the malus (mast) so he can hear the carmen Sirenis (the Siren's song) without jumping overboard. Minima is one of his nautae (sailors), her ears obturatas (plugged) so she can row away from periculum (danger). The Siren is not impressed!

@teddytedaloo A fantastical pirate tale. Was originally a manga & then an anime & now live action. Known for having about eleventy million volumes & still being produced - like the manga equivalent of climbing Everest. Live action anime is usually a disaster but this is getting decent reviews.
