While this has been a very interesting experiment and experience, I've come to two conclusions. One, our company doesn't have the cycles to devote to this. And second, this has not attracted the audience or community that I'd hoped. So I'm going to be shutting down the server for at least a few months while we regroup. Thanks to everyone who joined.

@techsinger I haven't tried it for your use case, but there is a way to hook up ChatGPT so that it can take voice prompts and respond to you. I will check it out and post it on our site itworldcanada.com

Our site will read articles to you already.

A great interview with Interac's current president and CEO Mark O'Connell on my weekly interview podcast.

@rabbijill @GottaLaff @emptywheel

I'm not ignoring him. I just want one place to hide for an hour or so. I agree he is the biggest threat to the world right now. :-)

Hilda. Loved your blog on Mastodon and science. I hope you won't mind me summarizing it in my daily news podcast Hashtag Trending. Can we talk about doing an interview with you for my weekend interview podcast? I found this fascinating and I think my readers might as well.

You can reach me on Mastodon of course, or at my work email which I confess I do check more regularly.

@LeviathanHunt Never leave a job until you have another one.

Maybe technology can bring us closer together. These two young entrepreneurs have made that their mission.

We used to have a sign in our window. I remember it from when I was a teenager. As I was writing this, I was trying to bring the image to mind and a lot of memories ran through my mind. Originally, I grew up in some pretty tough neighbourhoods. In one, a train track

@chris Agree. But I think that is what spooked Trudeau. I know that Steven Harper hates me because I founded a rogue faction of the Progressive Conservative party and if we'd had proportional representation we might have had a bigger chance of success. Getting a new party going without that is next to impossible. I'm not defending it, but I do believe that Trudeau may have been worried about the Bloc, about an Alberta separatist party - and of course, there'd be a lot more Green Party MPs.

I'm looking for some good light undergraduate-level books/articles in English about Taiwan under the Japanese and during the White Terror. History, culture, I would even love recommendations of short fiction if you have any.

Thanks
