We are testing app versions of Brailliance, our new game where you count braille dots to guess the word.
We're particularly interested in the impressions of VoiceOver and TalkBack users on phones and tablets. Brailliance supports everything from web-style navigation to Perkins input via braille displays and the on-screen braille keyboard. The game also supports keyboards on most devices.
We made a new game called Brailliance! Count the dots and guess the word to win. It's simple and addictive, and also fully accessible. It's also a lot of fun for sighted people. It might even teach a little bit of braille along the way, or at least further the goal of awareness.
You can play it in your web browser on our site: https://www.themisgames.com/brailliance/menu

Wordvoyance for Amazon 1.0.0 is now available!
You can now play the Wordvoyance app on Amazon Fire tablets via the Amazon App Store! As you might expect, the game runs smoothly on these entry-level tablets. It even works with their built-in screen reader, VoiceView. The voice quality is surprisingly good for something that costs less than a hundred dollars.
Once in the overview, you can swipe through the game board an entire row at a time. We recommend turning off speech output while in this screen. We also recommend grade-one and 8-dot braille while in this screen. Numbers and punctuation represent blank and bonus spaces wherever not consumed by a letter tile. It looks something like this:

You can customize which characters get output to your braille display by pressing the Customize Braille button below the overview.
