Not sure how this started but I've become obsessed with decorating my stuff with stickers. Random stickers, anything that strikes me as funny or cute or cool looking. Someone at work brought in a sticker book and I couldn't help myself 😂

A week long stretch of temperatures near 80 prompted cherries and magnolias to start blooming super early. Sadly, frost is around the corner so this will be short lived :( #spring #flowers

Moved out of my friends’ place (sadly…rent was a bit out of my reach) and back in with my mom. Which will help me greatly from a financial aspect in the short term but it does leave me feeling kind of isolated. She lives about 45 minutes west of most of my friends and where most social functions I go to are held. But, right now my immediate need is to rebuild my bank account so I’m trying to supplement my income however I can. Did some DoorDash-ing the other night and made some decent pocket money. A friend of mine was kind to remind me that my situation isn’t a result of any personal failing….it’s because this country (the U.S.) does nothing to help working class people keep their heads above water.

WHY is it now perpetually cloudy/overcast over Virginia??? So depressing! I didn't realize I had been transported to the Pacific northwest!

I wish I could stay longer at my friends' place...my room is super cozy, and when it rains, it's the most delightful ASMR when the rain hits the roof. So soothing.

Took a few days but I'm finally feeling truly settled now at my friends' place. I'm set up in a cozy little room in the corner of the house, with windows on two walls looking out over the garden from my computer desk. She has four dogs, three of them Australian shepherd dogs and one chocolate lab, all of them are just so sweet and stinking cute! We'll be planting out a bunch of vegetable seedlings in a few weeks and adding native wildflowers and shrubs around the yard!

Even though my circle of friends is not particularly big, they have been so incredibly supportive during this really rough season. ❤️
