Had a really weird interaction at work today while working the register, some guy probably in his 60’s needed to transfer money from one account to another (whatever, happens all the time) except he made me walk him through it and immediately pointed to his ($4k+) balance AND demanded I read the number aloud for him. Then he proceeded to hand me his card despite my repeated insistence that the machine was actually right next to him so I had to lean over all the register stuff to put it in the reader. AND THEN he had the audacity to get huffy when I told him he could remove his card.

I wasn’t wearing my name tag either (waiting for a replacement) so he also kept calling me by the name of the store. The whole thing lasted maybe two minutes but I was definitely trying to explode him with my mind.
