1776 was founded out of a deep frustration with our current system of government and how dysfunctional it has become; it is clear that most Americans share this frustration. To understand how we went astray, we must first examine our current predicament.
This highlights exactly why we need constitutional reform that works for today's America. Our founding document was written for a much different society. We can honor its principles while updating it for modern realities like our multilingual democracy.
The 1776 is building a National Advisory Panel to help tackle issues like this. We need volunteers who understand that real solutions require constitutional modernization.
