So apparently one of the so progressive instances on mastodon that I was advised to join (I didn't) is shutting down after the admin went on a transphobic rant against non-binary folk 😑
If you're on witches.town I advise moving ASAP.
@kateywumpus yup. And I know I've certainly tweeted stuff before without appropriate warnings when I'm triggered myself. So I get it. But the system here is much kinder.
@stealthmunchkin no worries - I actually checked out of even looking at my twitter feed for most of the day. But I did think some folk RTing must not have seen the image one way or another.
And I know I'm guilty of not using appropriate warnings when I myself am triggered... definitely why the mastodon method is vastly preferable!
@mrsteepot it was around that politician story - sadly the main outlet reporting on it used that pic as their social media image. Ugh.
